Warranty

Enlighten Saunas warrants its products to be free of defects in material and workmanship.

This warranty extends only to:

- a retail purchaser of a sauna or parts directly from the supplier;
the authorized wholesale purchaser of a sauna or parts directly from the supplier;

- or a retail purchaser of a sauna or parts from an authorized wholesaler.

However, in the event of a sale, transfer or conveyance of a sauna or parts from any of the three (3) proceeding persons or entities, any rights, duties, and obligations associated with this warranty shall be null and void and of no further force and effect. The sauna or parts must be purchased and used within one year of the manufactured date.

The controls, heaters, electrical parts and wiring must be kept dry at all times and not exposed to any water or liquids.

Under no circumstances will the manufacturer be liable for any special or consequential damages arising from the use of the product, its components and/or parts installed with or attached to it. The manufacturer is not liable for any injury to any persons or any claims of such that may be arising from the use, installation, and/or the service (repair) of the product. The purchaser must establish the date of purchase, by dated sales slip, invoice or delivery receipt.

For the coverage period specified (“warranty period”), Company agrees to replace, at its sole option, the products listed above, subject to and solely in accordance with the terms, conditions, exclusions, and limitations set forth herein. The warranty covers parts only, labor is not included.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship encountered in normal use of this product, and shall not apply to the following, including, but not limited to: damage which occurs in shipment; delivery and installation; applications and uses for which this product was not intended; altered product or serial numbers; cosmetic damage or exterior finish; accidents, abuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning or other acts of nature; use of products, equipment, systems, utilities, services, parts, supplies, accessories, applications, installations, repairs, external plumbing and leaks, external wiring, circuit breakers, fuses or connectors not supplied and authorized by the supplier, or which damage this product or result in service problems; incorrect electrical line voltage, fluctuations, and surges; customer adjustments and failure to follow operating instructions, cleaning, maintenance and environmental instructions that are covered and prescribed in the instruction book; consumable items including light bulbs.

Enlighten Saunas® & ZiahCare shall not be liable for the loss of use of the sauna or other incidental or consequential damages. Under no circumstances shall the supplier or any of its representatives be held liable for injury to any persons or damages to any properties. Specifications are subject to change without notice. Enlighten Saunas® uses the highest quality wood in our product lines. All structures using wood are susceptible to minor dents, scratches, and scuffing. This is normal and will not affect the integrity or operation of your sauna. Wood is a living material that continues to respond to climate conditions, even after being manufactured into a sauna. Variations in color or grain, and irregularities such as fine cracks are part of the natural beauty of the wood and in no way should be considered defects. During normal operation, wood may crack slightly due to the changes in moisture level. This will not affect the structural integrity of the sauna.

Prior to shipping, the wood is inspected for consistency, color, and quality. Our saunas are shipped around the globe and can experience slight blemishes, scratches or scuffs in transit. In most cases, these blemishes on the exterior of the sauna can be concealed by using a small amount of furniture polish, oil or other furniture treatment. The interior blemishes, scratches, or scuffs can be either left alone, sanded or combination of gluing plus sanding. Please avoid any treatment containing benzene or a high concentration of alcohol.

ATTENTION: Shipping damage must be notated on the Bill of Lading (BOL). The Supplier must be notified of any damage to your sauna within three (3) business days of signing the BOL. Failure to notify the supplier within the established time frame will result in the owner taking full responsibility for the cost of ALL REPLACEMENT PARTS including shipping and handling fees.

Shipping & Receiving

IMPORTANT: PLEASE REVIEW THIS ENTIRE DOCUMENT BEFORE RECEIVING YOUR SHIPMENT.

IF YOUR SHIPMENT ARRIVES OFF THE PALLET:

(Refer to page 2 for images of how your sauna shipment should and should NOT arrive)

DO NOT SIGN FOR THE UNIT WITHOUT THOROUGHLY INSPECTING THE CONTENTS OF EACH DELIVERED BOX.

Please kindly ask the driver to wait for you to ensure that your unit has arrived in good condition. We strongly encourage you to open each delivered box and carefully inspect the contents inside BEFORE signing the delivery receipt. (Proof of Delivery). By performing this task immediately, you are not only helping us to more quickly determine whether your unit arrived damaged or undamaged, but it also protects you against any possible product liability claims.

NOTE: Once you sign the delivery receipt, you are certifying that your unit arrived in good condition and that
both, the shipper(Enlighten Sauna) and the freight company are free of any liability.

TAKE PICTURES

A still camera or the camera on your phone can be extremely helpful in documenting the shipment’s condition

upon arrival. Please take pictures of ALL damages. Carefully check for damage to glass panels, electrical com-
ponents, wooden components, accessories, etc. Take pictures of each side of the damaged box(es) and items.

Please be sure to not misplace any inventoried item.

HAVE THE DRIVER WRITE “DAMAGED” WITH THEIR INITIALS

The freight company will not knowingly ship any items that are damaged. The freight company routinely inspects every box before accepting any items to be shipped. Consequently, you should NOT sign any courier receipt which transfers product liability over to you, until you have inspected the shipment’s contents. If there is damage, please kindly ask the driver to write ‘damaged’ with their initials next to it on the proof of delivery form. This step is essential to document that you have received a non-functioning component in damaged shipment.

IF THE DRIVER REFUSES TO WAIT

If the driver is in a rush and says he cannot wait for you to inspect your shipment thoroughly, initiate a quick visual examination of the boxes’ exterior condition.

Any visible signs of possible damage to your shipment please proceed to ask the driver for initials and ‘damaged’ written on receipt.

NOTE: If there is any damage to the pallet(skid) there is a possibility that contents laying against the pallet (the bottom) have been damaged. In this case, please take pictures of the pallet and the boxes upon arrival.

NOTE: PLEASE NEVER WRITE/CHECK OFF: "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION”, “NO VISIBLE DAMAGE”, “DAMAGE TO CRATE/PACKAGING” or “POSSIBLE DAMAGE” ON THE PROOF OF DELIVERY.

The freight company will not accept a damage claim if any of these phrases are written/checked off on the p.o.d form. If you see any damages on the shipment, simply write ‘DAMAGED’ followed up by more detailed information.

Ex: “Damaged - hole in cardboard box can hear broken glass rattling.”

ALL DAMAGES MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN 72 HOURS

We strongly advise you to promptly check for any damages shortly after the driver leaves. Please DO NOT wait a long period of time to open up your packages as you are only allowed 72 hours after delivery to report
any damages to us. The freight company and the shipper CANNOT be held liable for any damages if they are reported after this period of time.

KEEP ALL ORIGINAL PACKAGING

If you do submit a damage report, during the 72 hours period, we advise you to keep all original packaging.

Once the damage claim is forwarded to the freight company, an inspector will be sent out to personally examine the damages, in order to process the claim properly. If inspector is unable to examine your shipment, the freight company will not claim any liability because it cannot be proven that they are responsible for any damages.

DO NOT MOVE DAMAGED PACKAGE

Once the claim is settled, it is very important that you do NOT move any damaged packaging to a different location. The freight company and the shipper cannot be held liable for any damages if the unit is moved to a different location after it has been certified to have been delivered in good condition to the correct address.

CREATE AN INVENTORY LIST

Create an inventory list of damaged items to ensure an accurate replacement (please include images if possible). This helps us expedite your claim and send replacement parts in a timely manner.

PLEASE NOTE: We provide free delivery to the nearest point of entry. Any additional requests made by the customer (i.e bring sauna inside/further in, etc..) will be billed by FedEx and Enlighten Sauna will not be responsible for those charges.

Return Policy

Enlighten Sauna stands behind every product we sell and want you to be 100% satisfied with your experience with us, even in the return shipping process. Before sending any item/product out, every package goes through a quality check to make sure all products leave our warehouse in perfect shape. If you are not satisfied with your Enlighten Sauna purchase, you can return it for replacement or refund. All returns must be authorized by Enlighten Sauna prior to return shipment, simply request an RMA (return merchandise authorization) within 90 days of your invoice. Customers are responsible for all shipping / handling costs in any circumstance. All returns must have a tracking number to show proof of return. Refunds will be issued in the same method of payment as the original payment. It can take anywhere from 3 to 7 business days for payment to be credited back to you from Enlighten Sauna.

If you received missing or damaged merchandise please notify ZiahCare within 48 hours of delivery in order for the issue to be resolved. Damaged items need to be kept in original packaging and our shipping department will arrange the damaged product to be picked up. Always save some sort of confirmation (tracking number, PRO number, or any sort of receipt) to obtain a full refund or exchange. If you are not completely satisfied with your new product simply return the merchandise with your invoice and we'll be 100% happy to offer a replacement, exchange, or refund providing the product is in new condition (was not used for sweating even once).
