Good quality machine. Pulleys work well and weight stack is ample. Putting it together is challenging. The main issue is that they give you one huge bag with every screw, bolt, nut and washer in it. So, you have to measure each and every one to figure out which bolt goes where. I found that very challenging. A simple fix would be for the manufacturer to put the hardware in separate bags so they could be easily identified. It took about three and a half hours to put together by one person. Once together, though, it is a solid machine for the price.

Finally got it put together, lol, a year later. I love the machine, especially for the price. The chest area is a bit tight but adjusting the handles takes care of that. Hopefully after a lot of usage that won't be an issue. The directions were very detailed but informative. I recommend the machine.

This unit is perfect for me. I have had 6 neck and back surgeries in 4 years. It has helped me "bounce back" from each surgery.
I am not one for physical therapy, unless truly needed. But, with this machine I have been able to keep most of my strength and flexibility.
I am sure it would also be a great machine to work out for strength building while your dieting as well.

I am 70 and have lifted off and on since I was 16. Sometimes heavy. This will do the job for both me and the wife. We put this together ourselves in about 4 hours or so. Retired so we were in no hurry. Pretty easy and all went well. Do as others have stated and lay out all of the parts first especially all of the nuts and bolts. Follow the instructions to the letter and you will do just fine.

I have had my BFMG20 for over a year and it's been a blessing for me. I've lost weight and my core strength has improved dramatically. A lot of gym for the money.
Now to assembly. I continue to read reviews from folks who complain how bad the instructions are and how difficult it is to assemble. I'm guessing these are people who refuse to follow the instructions item by item and really don't have the patience to put it together. Yes, there are a lot of parts, but it can be assembled with a couple of simple toos in approximately 3-4 hours if you're taking your time, organize the parts and FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS from beginning to end. If you can't do this, then hire someone who can. The parts list was complete and the instructions were excellent. Stop blaming the manufacturer for your lack of patience and common sense.
