Very well built, yet small and light enough to move around on it’s attached wheels. Top notch finish, quality padding, heavy gauge welded construction. This thing will last decades in a home gym.

Received it earlier than scheduled - A+. Easy to put together.....did so without the instructions - A+. Wheels on one end, and handle on the other end make it easy to move around the floor - A+.

Downside - It's a heavy bench - C.

However, a heavy, well-built bench is exactly what I wanted, and what is needed for the person truly interested in getting a good workout. Haven't seen a lighter bench that performs as needed.

Would I buy another - yes! Without hesitation.

The truth about buying a weight bench is, you don't know if it's going to work until you use it for a while. Plus, at 70 pounds this thing is expensive to ship back. Don't assume paying over $400 equals you getting what you want. Read on.

All the Amazon reviews about this product are correct. I'll summarize: It's built with heavy steal and quality products, you CANNOT safely do decline bench presses with it, it is somewhat whobbly and but can be fixed by adding washers, it's heavy, but the wheels allow for ease of movement. I have seen this bench in commercial gyms, price is fair, and there is a significant gap between the seat and the back rest which can cause lifting issues.

The gap is where I have an issue. When I bought this I was looking at a simular bench sold by ROUGE FITNESS. If you know anything about Rouge, you know it was going to cost more then the body-solid bench. I chose the body-Solid, but after a year of use, i'm going to purchase the Rouge bench. Here's why.

There is almost no gap between the seat pad and the backrest. Plus it's built better. At just over $500 it's a fantastic bench. The reason that the price goes up for me is the added shipping cost.

But the body solid is NOT a bad bench and likely in the top ten. But if your willing to spend $400 for any bench your likely like me and want the best fit for you workout. So check out and compare benches. My best advise is to spend a little time doing this and it will pay off by you getting the bench that will work for you.

I have been gymming for 15+ years. Bodybuilding in college. A bench for this price and quality, it's pretty impressive. I have no complaints. Sometimes, the competitors' friends would leave a bad review on Amazon to mess with the algorithm. Just saying. It's a good product.

This is a very solid bench for long term use. I did not look for this bench to decline but to offer a solid platform for flat and incline exercise positioning. Heavy gauge steel and solid construction offer the user sound positioning for any exercise. This is a commercial piece of equipment and the craftsmen ship in the seat fabric shows it. Like anything else if you take care of your equipment this will offer many years of use.
