I have been to a lot of gyms and used many different benches, and this is by far one of the best I have ever used. It’s very sturdy and is made with high quality materials. Extremely happy with my decision.

With my health club closed during the pandemic, I decided to get a bench and dumbbells for my garage to get back into lifting again. I originally looked for a Rogue bench having heard they were good, but they were impossible to find in late 2020. The Body-Solid bench had good reviews in some of the exercise websites and looked similar to the Rogue bench quality so I bought it.

Assembly was easy, although the corner of the metal frame supporting the seat was bent. Fortunately, it was easy to straighten and you don't see it once assembled. The frame is solid and doesn't wobble at all. Raising and lowering the back between exercises is fast since there are no pins to mess with. The bench itself is comfortable with the thick padding and a reasonable gap between the seat and back. Overall, I'm really glad I spent a little extra to get a good bench to get me started.
