The Mr. Steam CT Commercial Steam Generator is designed for thermal expansion and heat conduction experiments. It generates steam and can be used with the lid off to heat submerged samples for specific heat experiments. Key features include easy-pour lip, 9-step heater settings, digital readout of heater setting, safety steam relief valve, and automatic shut-off switch when the vessel runs dry. The device can heat 500 ml of water from 24°C to steam in 5 minutes with the lid on and up to 92°C in 8 minutes with the lid off. The generator includes features like an LED low water warning light, rubberized handle, and carrying handles.
