The ColdLife Sirona Spa Down is a spa balancer designed to effectively lower the level of pH in spa water. It is a granular balancer that works by gradually dropping the pH level to prevent corrosion of equipment and scale formation. This product is compatible with all sanitizers, including bromine, chlorine, and biguanide. To use, add 1/4 ounces (1-1/2 tsp.) for every 500 gallons of spa water, ensure all equipment is turned off, add the product, and then turn the circulation system on for 30 minutes before re-testing the water. Repeat as necessary until the pH level reaches 7.8 or lower.
